Helium Chain Guide


After searching for a suitable chain guide for a 1x9 XC race bike and not finding anything under ~70 grams we decided to design and make the ultimate weight weenie chain guide.  Here it is!  We used high tensile Acetal Delrin for the clamp, abrasion resistant Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW)  and aluminum alloy for the hardware.  The result is a tough-as-nails guide that will keep your chain from jumping ship. Our Helium Chain guide comes in at 24 grams! 
  • Clamp fits 28.6, 31.8, and 34.9mm seat tubes with included shims.
  • Suitable for chain lines from 36mm to 56mm (for chain lines narrower than 45mm you can trim the mounting bolt and save a few more grams)
  • Can be used on carbon frames with tapered seat tubes but make sure the bottom of the clamp can be mounted inline with top of your chainring (E.G. 66mm from BB center for 32T ring, 69mm for 34t, 73mm for 36T, and 77mm for 38T)
